We&#8217;ve been welcoming guests to Vienna for many years already (since 2012).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The name &#8220;<em>Sobieski Apartments<\/em>&#8221; originates from the street name &#8220;Sobieskigasse&#8221; where we started out with our first 5 apartments. So we chose that to be our &#8220;brand name&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We slowly and steadily grew over time adding more thoughtfully selected apartments. We specialized in apartments in super-central locations, most of them in district 1 (that&#8217;s the innermost district in Vienna).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a family business we feel personally responsible for our apartments and for our guests. It might seem old-school but we simply believe in long-term relationships (with both guests and partners) and reliable, clear agreements.<br>If you want to know more about us, feel free to ask. (only for direct reservations with us)\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\n<p>If you book with us directly the conditions are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong> 30%<\/strong> of the total amount is required to be paid as an upfront<strong> pre-payment to secure the reservation<\/strong>.<br>Once we receive this pre-payment we will confirm the reservation and the apartment is then reliably reserved for you. It will get blocked on all platforms and can no longer be booked by anybody else.<br>The pre-payment (30%) is non-refundable, that means even in case of cancellation or no-show we will keep this part. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The rest (70%)<\/strong> you can cancel free of charge <strong>until 2 weeks before arrival<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For all payments you will formal confirmations\/invoices. If you need your business details on invoices (like your company\/organization name, VAT-nr, etc.) please inform us timely because our invoices are digitally signed and cannot be changed anymore after creation in our invoicing system.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-2048\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle \">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> Is it safe to book on your website ?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\n<p>We understand some visitors may feel uncertain at first that this might be a fake-website or something similar. We don&#8217;t know how exactly we can proof it to you but it is just our own website, more or less &#8220;hand-crafted&#8221;. You are welcome to verify our authenticity at any time: simply give us a call, send us an email, or visit us in person in Vienna. We are real \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have been an officially registered company in Austria (registration nr. 379552s) for more then 10 years already and we get regularly audited by official authorities (like all companies in Austria).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: When you click &#8220;prices &amp; reservation&#8221; you will be redirected to our external booking software (SabeeApp). This platform is secure too and directly connected to our reservation system, so your booking will be automatically and safely registered with us.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-1294\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle maingroup\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> How to reach the apartment?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From the Airport VIE Flughafen Wien Schwechat<\/h2>\n\n<p>There are 3 options available<\/p>\n<br \/><strong>1.) Airport Taxi Service.<\/strong> This is the most convenient option.<br \/>If you want to pre-order an Airport Taxi we recommend the company\u00a0 &#8220;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Funktaxi 40100<\/span>&#8221; which is basically the taxi HQ. Their phone number is +43140100.<br \/>Taxi costs in Austria are regulated. From Airport to Vienna City Area they are about:<br \/>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1-4 persons + luggage: 42\u20ac<\/li>\n<li>5-6 persons + luggage: 49\u20ac<\/li>\n<li>6+Van\/Bus can only be pre-ordered if you agree that they send 2 normal cars in case no Van\/Bus is available<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can pre-order a taxi by calling there phone number or you walk to their office desk after landing.<\/p>\n<p>When arriving by plane, this is how to find the taxi desk: from the hall where you pickup your luggage after landing (see luggage icons in the picture below) you go out to the arrival hall, turn left and after about 40m find a yellow-black desk labeled \u201cTaxi 40100\u201d (on the opposite side). It has the same colors as in the picture below (yellow black &#8220;Taxi 40100&#8221; company logo).<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.taxi40100.at\/fileadmin\/_processed_\/0\/a\/csm_pic2_930709a3d3.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>2.) City Airport Train (CAT).<\/strong> This train is very fast, only 16 minutes from airport to &#8220;Landstra\u00dfe\/Wien Mitte&#8221; Metro Station. Costs are listed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityairporttrain.com\/en\/prices\">here (click)<\/a>. About 11\u20ac\/person.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>3.) Normal train (&#8220;Schnellbahn&#8221;)<\/strong>. Another very simple and inexpensive way to reach us is to use the commuter rail system known as the \u201cSchnellbahn\u201d: Take the S7, which leaves regularly from VIE Vienna-Schwechat Airport. Get off the S7 at \u201cLandstra\u00dfe\/Wien Mitte\u201d. From there use the metro network.<\/p>\n<p>4.) <strong>Bus &#8220;Vienna Airport Lines&#8221;.<\/strong> This is theapest option. Departs about once per hour, several pickup locations (&#8220;Schwedenplatz&#8221; and or one of the train stations Hauptbahnhof \/ Westbahnhof is probably best for you). Price is about 9\u20ac one-way. For short time parking there exist parking forms sold in tobacco shops (in german &#8220;Tabaktraffik&#8221;) , kiosk systems in metro stations and some gas stations but for parking for whole days they are expensive (costs are 2.50\u20ac\/hour) and quite unpractical.<\/p>\n<p>So basically you have only 2 options:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>you either bring your car to a parking garage, or<\/li>\n<li>for some locations we can provide a hotel parking card.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>There are certain <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">times when there is free street parking<\/span> though (no ticket or card needed):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Saturday\/Sunday\/national holidays is free parking<\/li>\n<li>nightly parking between 22:00 and 09:00 is for free as well<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><br \/><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Recommendations<\/span> based on your apartment location:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><br \/><strong>1.)<\/strong> For <strong>ALL LOCATIONS<\/strong> we can generally recommend:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.apcoa.at\/en\/parking\/vienna\/rossau-vienna-apcoa\/\">&#8220;Tiefgarage Rossau &#8211; Wien | APCOA&#8221;<\/a>. The address of this parking garage is: &#8220;T\u00fcrkenstra\u00dfe 22, 1090 Wien &#8220;. Costs ~15\u20ac\/day when using their App &#8220;APCOA Flow&#8221;. For more details follow this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apcoa.at\/parken\/Wien\/Rossau-Wien-APCOA\/\">link<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.parken.at\/garage\/684\/p+r-spittelau\">&#8220;Park &amp; Ride Garage Spittelau&#8221;.<\/a> The address of this parking garage is: &#8220;<em>Spittelauer L\u00e4nde 12, 1090 Wien<\/em>&#8220;. Costs for parking are about ~8\u20ac\/day. Unfortunately the garage is full quite often (commuters); parking easier in the late afternoon\/evening. More details <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parken.at\/garage\/684\/p+r-spittelau\">here<\/a><\/li>\n<li>An alternative (also close to metro station) is this parking garage: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wipark.at\/standorte\/9-bezirk\/unizentrum-althanstra%C3%9Fe\">WIPARK Unizentrum Altanstra\u00dfe<\/a> (~5\u20ac \/ day).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2.)<\/strong> We can provide a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">hotel parking card<\/span> if your apartment address is one of these:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Esslinggasse<\/li>\n<li>Werdertorgasse<\/li>\n<li>Pramergasse<\/li>\n<li>M\u00fcllnergasse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><br \/>Please note that the <strong>hotel parking card <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">must be reserved in advance<\/span><\/strong> by contacting us at <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">least 3 days before arrival<\/span> (the earlier the better). We need to prepare the card physically for you and we can provide only a very limited number of parking cards (officials don&#8217;t give us more) and therefore availability cannot be guaranteed (tip: reserve as early as you can! First come, first serve).<\/p>\n<p>This is the most convenient option as you will be able to park your car close to the apartment. Costs are 15\u20ac\/day (minimum reservation 30\u20ac)<\/p>\n<p>Please note that hotel parking card is not for a fixed spot or a garage. Instead it is more like a &#8220;premium parking ticket&#8221; and gives you permission for long-term parking on public street parking lots.\u00a0 For more information read our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sobieski-apartments.at\/wp\/?faq=how-to-use-the-hotel-parking-card\">hotel parking card instructions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to reserve the hotel parking card ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send us a message (something like: &#8220;<em>I want to book a hotel-parking card for [period] for 15\u20ac\/day.<\/em>&#8220;). Please add name of main booker or reservation ID.<br \/>The minimum order amount is 30\u20ac (so you order at least 2 days or pay 30\u20ac for 1 day).<br \/>We will then check your request, and if possible (cards are very limited; first come, first serve), we will confirm.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<!-- \/wp:post-content -->\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><strong>3.)<\/strong> If your apartment is located in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Spiegelgasse \/ St. Stephans Cathedral<\/strong><\/span>, we recommend parking garage &#8220;<em>Mahlerstra\u00dfe 6-8, 1010 Wien<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph -->The name of the parking garage is &#8220;Contipark Tiefgarage K\u00e4rntnerringgarage&#8221; next to the opera. This garage is relatively cheap and in walking distance to your apartment in Spiegelgasse. There are other garages a bit closer but significantly more expensive.<br \/>This is the link to <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/spEted8MHbw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">google maps<\/a>: https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/spEted8MHbw<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t mind the costs, there is a parking garage very close (basically at the back side of the building): <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestinparking.com\/en\/at\/garage\/garage-neuer-markt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parkgarage Neuer Markt<\/a> (close but expensive ~3.90\u20ac\/hour, 40\u20ac max per day)<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>4.)<\/strong> If your apartment is located in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Bloschgasse<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 we can provide <strong>free parking<\/strong> on private property.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-2001\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle \">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> Is the tap water drinkable?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\n<p>Yes, the tap water in Vienna is of excellent quality.
